August 2008 Library News

This comes with a warm welcome and welcome back to all of the DWC faculty. Throughout the year, we rely on your recommendations and ideas in purchasing items that we want to be of use for the College community. When these items come in, we place them on the New Book Shelf for a few weeks, and then move them to the shelves.

These monthly lists are arranged by call number, since items on similar topics should (in theory) be grouped relatively closely. They are also geared to general disciplines, to avoid overwhelming anyone with too many titles. The complete list, as well as lists for the past twelve months, are provided on our web page, www.dwci.edu/library. Just click on “New Books.”

Thanks this month to Fr Shea for some welcome donations, and thanks to you all for your past and, I’m confident, future support!
