DWC has online eCatalog
We are pleased to let our library patrons know that we have an
online library catalog. The Library eCatalog allows
searching through the entire collection held in the
Matthew Jacoby Library, including books, videos, DVDs, and CDs. There are many ways to search for library materials. If you experiment with the search engine you will discover which process works best for you. If you know there is a certain resource but are having difficulty finding it,
just contact one of the staff.
Periodicals cover many subjects
Check out the long list of periodicals found in the Reading Room of the library. You will see many newspapers and journals available for reading. The current publication must be read in the Reading Room, but older issues may be checked out. For journals that we do not own or that seem to be missing, contact Brother Tony.

Answer to Previous Trivia Question
Answer:Congratulations this week to Nathaniel Nguyen. Nathaniel went to the World Almanac, where he learned that of the 111,000 deaths by accident in the United States in 2004, the second leading cause was falling. While this seems peculiar, the Almanac pointed out that many elderly people die of complications arising from their falls. Nathaniel also noted that very, very few people die annually in airplane accidents, with the logical conclusion that flying is much safer than being on the ground!
